Terms of delivery

1. Registration and personal information

Submitting an order does not require registration.

2. Ordering

The products to be ordered are selected on the website by adding them to the cart. The order will be shipped to you after you pay for the products in your cart via the check-out.

When you place an order, you accept these delivery terms, the product prices and the shipping costs.

If you enter your e-mail address when placing the order, an order confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail. The order confirmation shows the products ordered as well as the price. With each order, the customer commits to the webstore’s valid delivery terms.

3. Payment

The payments made in the webstore are processed by Visma Pay (Paybyway Oy, business ID 2486559-4), which is registered in the list of supervised entities maintained by the Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA). The payments are made through the Visma Pay online platform, and the recipient of the payment is shown as Visma Pay or Paybyway Oy on the invoice and bank statement. Visma Pay will forward the payment to the online merchant. Making payments is secure, because all of the information concerning the transactions is transmitted via an encrypted connection so that no outside party is able to view it.

4. Payment methods

POP Bank, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, MobilePay, Masterpass, Pivo, Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Debit MasterCard cards, and Jousto payment service.

5. Delivery method and costs

Posti manages the webstore deliveries. Please note that the deliveries are kept at Posti Pickup Points for seven days. Check the arrival notification for the storage period. If the delivery is returned to the sender because it has not been picked up on time, the parcel can be redelivered to you for the cost of shipping.
 
 Pick-up from HAM’s museum store:

  • €0, you can pick up the delivery by showing your ID.

Orders in Finland:

  • Parcels picked up from Posti service points and Parcel Lockers: €7, maximum weight 10 kg, 59 x 60 x 36 cm
  • XXS shipment, delivered to the recipient’s mailbox: €6, maximum weight 2 kg, maximum size 3 x 25 x 35 cm
  • Posti Express Parcel, delivered to the recipient’s door: €13, maximum weight 10 kg, maximum size 120 x 60 x 60 cm

Orders from EU countries:

  • Shipping cost €30

We reserve the right to change the delivery methods and costs when necessary.

6. Returns

Webstore customers have a 14-day exchange and return policy in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. The customer has the right to return or exchange some or all of the products delivered. The products to be returned or exchanged must be in their original packaging and in a condition fit for sale.

If you would like to return a product, please contact the store via e-mail: hamshop@hamhelsinki.fi. Attach the order number and your contact details to the return request. The webstore has a statutory liability for defects in the products sold. In the event of any complaints, please contact the webstore via e-mail: hamshop@hamhelsinki.

7. Advance tickets

If you are unable to use the advance ticket that you bought, we will refund the ticket in case of illness. If you have booked the ticket for the wrong time, you can use the ticket you bought to come to the museum at a time that suits you.

8. Tickets for guided tours, workshops and events

The ticket purchase is binding. Once tickets are purchased, they can neither be changed nor refunded. Tickets are transferable, so you can pass your ticket on to someone else.

9. Resolving disputes

The consumer has the right to have any potential disputes resolved by the Consumer Disputes Board. Finnish law will be applied to any disputes and disagreements arising from this distance sales agreement.
