Tove Jansson (1914 - 2001) was an amazingly versatile artist who made her mark in many creative endeavours, including the beautification of urban spaces from the 1940s onwards. The articles in this book are authored by PhD-holding experts on Tove Jansson's art Sirke Happonen, Asta Kihlman and Johanna Ruohonen and HAM Helsinki Art Museum's curator Heli Harni.
