Tove Jansson’s art and songs come together in an atmospheric concert! 

Music was a significant part of Tove Jansson’s life. The multi-talented artist is known as an illustrator, visual artist, and creator of the Moomin stories, but she also wrote song lyrics. Jansson started writing songs as a child and continued throughout her life.

Emma Klingenberg has studied Tove Jansson’s song lyrics for a long time. Klingenberg will perform Jansson’s rediscovered song lyrics at the concert with entirely new compositions and arrangements. The concert will also feature well-known songs from Tove Jansson’s songbook.

The concert will be bilingual. (finnish and swedish)

Duration: ca 60 min

The concert will take place on the upper floor of the Tove Jansson—Paradise exhibition after the museum closes.

Seats are unnumbered. Concert guests choose their seats in order of arrival.
